How to Find DOE Grants  

Funding for clean energy projects comes from five DOE offices:
-- Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE)
-- Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (OE)
-- Office of Science (OS)
-- Office of Fossil Energy (FE), and
-- Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E)


Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) are issued by these offices on a regular basis. The preponderance of these grants come from EERE. To view current grants, including eligibility requirements, funding levels, and due dates for concept papers and applications, click here:

Renewable Energy Consulting Services "DOE Grants"

Grants: U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)

The DOE’s budget for FY17 is anticipated to provide $30.2 billion in discretionary funding and $2.3 billion in new mandatory funding to support nuclear security, clean energy, environmental cleanup, climate change response, and science and innovation. This will include:
--$5.9 billion in discretionary funding for clean energy research and development  
--$1.5 billion in mandatory funding clean energy technology development and deployment
--$1.3 billion for advanced clean transportation ($11.3 billion over ten years), and
--$150 million for the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) ($1.85 billion over five years).
